Build Systems That Matter. Work With People Who Take Pride in Their Craft.
At Portland Engineering we design and build systems that keep water clean, power reliable, diagnostics accurate, and critical manufacturing running. Our work has real-world consequences and we hire people who care about doing things the right way.
We’re an engineering-first environment where competence is respected, curiosity is encouraged, and your work has visible impact.
Our Work Environment
We don’t operate like corporate automation firms with rigid silos, endless approval chains, and layers of bureaucracy. We are collaborative, hands-on, and outcomes-driven.
We value:
- Engineers who think clearly and document well
- Technicians who take pride in clean, serviceable builds
- Makers who enjoy solving practical problems
- Professionals who want ownership, not just tasks
If you’re the kind of person who wants to build real systems, not just PowerPoints, you’ll fit in here.
Two Teams, One Integrated Mission
Portland Engineering
Control systems, automation architecture, SCADA, networking, field integration.
Portland Engineering Manufacturing
ISO-certified production, micro-assembly, regulated documentation workflows, and final system testing.
You may work in one discipline or collaborate across both.
Growth Without the Corporate Ladder
We don’t measure value by titles, years, or presentation polish.
We measure by:
- How well you solve problems
- How reliably you communicate
- How much ownership you take
- How much others trust your work
Your growth path is custom, not pre-scripted.
